Abstract:A Síndrome de Stevens-Johnson, responsável por lesões muco-cutâneas graves, ocorre geralmente após a exposição a certos medicamentos ou após infecções, podendo estar relacionada a eventos autoimunes. Os autores descrevem o caso de uma paciente de 47 anos que apresentou o quadro após ser submetida à terapêutica com amoxicilina. Após hospitalização e tratamento adequado, a mesma demonstrou recuperação satisfatória, sem apresentar sequelas significativas.
