Simulation of the effect of EGR rates on combustion and emission of a diesel engine

Abstract

This paper constructed a reduced combustion mechanism for diesel to build a three-dimensional model of the in-cylinder combustion of a diesel engine, analyzes the changes of in-cylinder pressure and temperature under different EGR rates, draws the three-dimensional spatial distribution of in-cylinder temperature.
