ABSTRAKPemanenan hutan produksi alam di Indonesia dilakukan dengan intensitas tinggi sehingga menyebabkan perubahan ketersediaan biomassa hutan. Beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi kuat antara intensitas pemanenan hutan dengan pengurangan volume kayu di hutan. Kondisi ini dapat mengganggu kestabilan ekosistem hutan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menghitung dan mengklasifikasikan limbah tebang pilih dengan intensitas rendah (satu pohon plot -1 ) di izin usaha pemanfaatan hasil hutan kayu-hutan alam (IUPHHK-HA). Penelitian ini dilakukan di dua pengusahaan hutan alam, yaitu di Kalimantan Utara dan Papua Barat. Pengukuran kayu limbah dilakukan di 30 plot lingkaran dinamis dengan jari-jari sebesar 2 kali tinggi pohon yang ditebang. Rata-rata luas plot contoh di Perusahaan A sebesar 2,5 ha plot -1 dan di Papua Barat sebesar 1,6 ha plot -1 . Plot contoh diletakkan secara acak di salah satu petak tebang. Semua kayu limbah penebangan yang memiliki dbh ≥10 cm diukur setelah penebangan. Limbah penebangan diklasifikasikan ke dalam dua asal, yaitu pohon ditebang dan tidak ditebang, dan empat bentuk limbah penebangan, yaitu pohon roboh, batang patah, tunggak, cabang, dan ranting. Intensitas penebangan rendah menghasilkan kayu limbah dengan kisaran 4,985,55 m 3 ha -1 . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pohon yang ditebang menghasilkan limbah penebangan (66%) yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan pohon yang tidak ditebang (34%). Bentuk limbah penebangan yang dihasilkan dari pohon yang ditebang adalah cabang dan ranting, batang patah, dan tunggak. Limbah kayu yang berasal dari pohon yang tidak ditebang didominasi oleh pohon roboh dan diikuti oleh batang patah, cabang, dan ranting. Several studies have shown a strong correlation between harvesting intensity and the reduction of wood volume in the forest. This condition may disrupt the stability of forest ecosystem. This study aimed to calculate and classificate logging residue of low-harvest intensity (one tree plots -1 ) in Indonesian Forest Concession. The study was conducted in private concessions in North Kalimantan and West Papua. Measurements were made in 30 dynamic circular sample plots with a radius of 2 times the height of the felled tree. The average size in North Kalimantan was 2.5 ha plot -1 and in West Papua was 1.5 ha plot -1 . The sample plots were randomly placed in the cutting compartment. All logging residues with dbh ≥10 cm were measured after felling. The logging residue is classified into felled and unfelled trees and four types of logging residue (fallen tree, broken stem, stump, branches and twigs). The low felling intensity produced logging residue ranging from 4.985.55 m 3 ha -1 . Environmental factors can affect biodiversity in a landscape. Differences in microclimate conditions can affect the presence of parasitic Hymenoptera in rice cultivation. This study investigated: (i) Landscape structure and microclimate on tidal swamp rice; (ii) Diversity and abundance of parasitic Hymenoptera; (iii) Correlation of parasitic Hymenoptera with their landscapes and microclimate. Determination of sample plots was made using the line transect method in rice cultivation in four tidal swampland landscapes. Data analysis was performed by calculating the Shannon-Wiener diversity index (H'), the Margalef species richness index (D), and the Pielou species evenness index. The relationship between parasitic Hymenoptera and environmental factors was analyzed using Pearson correlation analysis, principal component analysis, and canonical correlation analysis. Based on the diversity index (H'), three rice fields in complex landscapes had a higher diversity of Hymenoptera parasitoid species than simple landscapes. The presence of Parasitic Hymenoptera on tidal swamp rice can be affected by the landscape's structure and microclimates. Humidity is the microclimate variable that most influences the abundance of Parasitic Hymenoptera in the tidal swamp landscape. Good microclimate management is needed to increase the presence of Parasitic Hymenoptera in tidal swamp rice.

Biodiversitas 23: 1099-1104. Wild bees are natural pollinators of crops in agroecosystems, but managed honeybee colonies may diminish their diversity and abundance. We aimed to determine the impact of introducing managed honeybee (Apis cerana and A. mellifera) colonies on the diversity and abundance of wild bees in an agroecosystem in Indonesia. We introduced managed honeybee colonies into the plots containing four crops (tomato, green bean, chili, and green mustard). Sampling was conducted from March to July 2020 on the eastern slopes of Mount Slamet, Indonesia, at an elevation of 1241 m asl. Wild bee diversity was not affected by the introduction of managed honeybee colonies, but their abundance decreased at the end of the flowering period due to resource limitations. The most abundant wild bee species were Amegilla cyrtandrae and A. burneensis, and some wild bee species tended to be more abundant on certain crop species. We recommend that managed colonies be introduced during the early and mid-stages of crop flowering to reduce potential adverse effects on wild bee populations.
