Shiga toxin producing Escherichia coli-associated diarrhea and hemolytic uremic syndrome in young children in Romania

Abstract: Background Diarrheagenic Escherichia coli (E. coli) is an important cause of diarrheal diseases in both developing countries and industrialized countries.
