ShadowCaster: compositional methods under the shadow of phylogenetic models for the detection of horizontal gene transfer events in prokaryotes

Abstract: Horizontal gene transfer (HGT) plays an important role in the evolution of many organisms, especially in prokaryotes where commonly occurs.
