Abstract. The distributed satellite cluster network (DSCN) is a novel concept in satellite communication field. Considering the dynamism and heterogeneity of the DSCN, the resource allocation algorithm must make adjustments dynamically according to the requirements of users as well as the utility and availability of the resource. This paper investigates the evaluation problem of the resource allocation utility in DSCN. Considering the heterogeneity of DSCN and the multi-dimensional of the resource, a distributed evaluation architecture and a multi-index evaluation system are constructed. To solve the multi-index evaluation problem, a comprehensive evaluation approach based on analytic hierarchy process and back-propagation (AHP-BP) neural network is proposed. Via several simulation results, we verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

With the continuous development of satellites, the number and types of satellites continue to grow, people are increasingly demanding satellites, and the demand for satellite networks is increasing. Due to the wide coverage of the satellite, the long distance from the ground, the high dynamics, and many types, the difficulty of satellite network resource management is increased, resulting in a series of problems such as improper resource management and idle resources in the satellite network. In view of the above problems, this paper firstly uses the coarse-grained method to classify the satellite network's multi-dimensional resources and uses the characteristic parameters of the resource elements to perform fine-grained characterization and analysis of the satellite network resources; then, because the single resource element can't meet the needs of various tasks of the satellite network, a multi-dimensional resource element association algorithm for satellite networks is proposed; finally, for the multi-dimensional resource collaborative optimization problem, a resource conversion strategy is pro proposed to solve the problem of resource shortage in satellite network communication. After simulation verification, the resource conversion strategy is better than the traditional method under the shortage of satellite network communication resources.

This paper proposed a new remote sensing observation capability evaluation model (RSOCE) based on analytic hierarchy process to quantitatively evaluate the capability of multi-satellite cooperative remote sensing observation. The analytic hierarchical process model is a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis of systematic decision analysis method. According to the objective of the remote sensing cooperative observation mission, we decompose the complex problem into several levels and a number of factors, compare and calculate various factors in pairs, and obtain the combination weights of different schemes. The model can be used to evaluate the observation capability of resource satellites. Taking the optical remote sensing satellites, such as China’s resource satellite series and GF-4, as examples, this paper verifies and evaluates the model for three typical tasks: point target observation, regional target observation, and moving target continuous observation. The results show that the model can provide quantitative reference and model support for comprehensive evaluation of the collaborative observation capability of remote sensing satellites.
