“…Studies have demonstrated that multiple indicators play crucial roles in detecting patients at risk for SAP and the development of complications. These indicators include serum amylase (AMY) [8], lipase (LIP) [9], low serum ionized calcium (Ca 2+ ) [10], high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP) [11], neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) [12,13], and BMI [14][15][16]. However, to the best of our knowledge, the changes in these clinic parameters in patients with HTGP have not been previously reported.…”

“…What's more, we wanted to look into the effects of LMWH in different stages of SAP. According to our experience and other experiment results, 24,45 we then thought an inflammatory reaction of pancreatic tissue occurred 1 h after the induction of pancreatitis and could be regarded as the initial stage of SAP; 6 h after the induction of pancreatitis could be considered as the development stage of SAP; 12 h after the induction of pancreatitis was the most severe. Moreover, 6 h and 12 h were the generally accepted time points for performing experiments of SAP.…”
