Serum Alpha-2-Macroglobulin as an intrinsic radioprotective factor in patients undergoing thoracic radiation therapy

Abstract: ObjectiveTo investigate the impact of alpha-2-macroglobulin (A2M), a suspected intrinsic radioprotectant, on radiation pneumonitis and esophagitis.
