“…Bi 2 Fe 4 O 9 is a good O 2– ionic conductor . Its crystal structure, which is displayed in Figure , has been discussed in detail in the literature. In the orthorhombic unit cell, Bi ions are aligned along the c axis direction, and there are two coordination environments for Fe ions, edge-sharing FeO 6 octahedrons along the c axis and vertex-sharing Fe 2 O 7 tetrahedrons along a and b axes. In this work, the CeO 2 –Bi 2 Fe 4 O 9 composite was synthesized, and its electrochemical property was evaluated. Combined in situ X-ray diffraction and absorption spectroscopy were employed to study the discharge mechanism.…”
