Separation of the Pigments Produced as a Result of Greening of Chlorogenic Acid

Abstract: Separation of the green pigments prepared by the reaction of chlorogenic acid with nitrogen-containing compounds in alkaline sodium hydrogen carbonate solution and in Menzel buffer solution, was investigated by means of Sephadex G-25, G-15 column chromatography, using distilled water or Menzel buffer solution as eluent.
