A separate‐type two‐dimensional 8 × 3 folded‐slot array antenna was fabricated using photolithography and wet etching, and the receiving properties for 94‐GHz millimeter wave radiation were investigated theoretically and experimentally in order to improve the receiving gain of a separate‐type slot antenna. The fabricated folded‐slot array antenna had a power gain of 12.5 dBi which was 10.5 dB larger than the single slot antenna at 94 GHz.
