Abstract: <b><i>Objective:</i></b> Glioblastomas are a kind of cancer with high resistance to treatments, requiring more efficient alternatives of treatment. X-linked inhibitor of apoptosis (XIAP) is highly expressed in gliomas and, due to its inhibition of caspases, can participate in resistance to therapy.
