Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR and AR) are promising to complement practitioners' interventions with autistic children, but they mainly target the socio-emotional abilities of children with low support needs. For autistic children with high support needs, sensory-based and mediation approaches are advised with AR headsets, to keep contact with their familiar environment and their real practitioner, while VR presents risks of isolation. Yet, the acceptability and usability of AR headsets for these children remains unknown. Thus, this paper investigates the possibility to use AR headsets with Magic Bubbles, a multisensory environment designed for autistic children with high support needs, to reassure them while reinforcing the dyadic relationship with their practitioner. Drawing upon a previous design validation with 11 practitioners, acceptability and usability testings were conducted at a day hospital with 10 children with neurodevelopmental disorders and associated intellectual disability. Findings confirm a positive acceptability and usability for these children, thus validating the possibility to use Magic Bubbles with autistic children with high support needs. At last, future directions regarding the use of AR in clinical settings are outlined.

Identifying and supporting children's play and problem solving behaviour is important for designing educational technologies. This can inform feedback mechanisms to scaffold learning (provide hints or progress information), and assist facilitators (teachers, parents) in supporting children. Traditionally, researchers manually code video to dissect children's nuanced play and problem solving behaviour. Advancements in sensing technologies and their respective Multi-Modal Data (MMD), afford observation of invisible states (cognitive, affective, physiological), and provide opportunities to inspect internal processes experienced during learning and play. However, limited research combines traditional video annotations and MMD to understand children's behaviour as they interact with educational technology. To address this concern, we collected data from webcam, wristband, eye-trackers, and Kinect, as 26 children, aged 10-12, played a Motion-Based Educational Games (MBEG). Results showed significant differences in children's experience during play and problem solving episodes, and motivate design considerations aimed to facilitate children's interactions with MBEG. With the comprehensive development of information technology, the continuous optimization of products can make enterprises stand in the market. Various industries are involved in the upsurge of computer-enabling products; computer-aided (CAD) technology has also been rapid development. CAD technology is composed of problem analysis, innovative method, problem transformation and problem-solving invention principle, standard solution, and so on. In this paper, the theoretical system, basic scheme, and solving algorithm of CAD technology are described in detail. Meanwhile, the content of value evaluation and root cause analysis is analyzed and solved to further illustrate the application process of CAD technology optimization products and gradually form a more perfect application method of CAD innovation technology so that its solution process is more scientific, operable, and universal.
