B u p e und K e s s t e r l) konnten vor einiger Zeit mitteilen, daB bei der Einwirkung einer heiBen LBsung von 2 Mo1.-Gew. salzsaurem Semicarbazid auf ein Mol. Gew. eines aliphatischen Isonitrosoketones nicht nur daa normale Semicarbazon entsteht, sondern da8 auch die Gruppe =N.OH als Hydroxylamin verdrangt und durch den Semicarbazidrest : 3. N E-CO.NE, ersetzt wird. Es entstanden auf solche Weise Semicarbazone von Ketoaldehyden oder von Diketonen. Unsere Absicht ist, diese Reaktion, also die Verdrangung der 190nitrosogruppe durch den Semicarbazidrest, auch auf andere Verbindungen auszudehnen. Gegenwartig sind Arbeiten im Gange, welche die Einwirkung von Semicarbazid (EC1-Salz und freie Base) auf cyclische Nitrosite und Nitrosochloride zum Zwecke haben; uber die Wechselwirkung zwischen salzsaurem Hemicarbazid und L i m o n e n-und T e r p i n e o l-N i t r o s o c h l o r i d wurde schon vor kurzem von Dr. H. A l t e nburga) eine Mitteilung gebracht. Wir fiihrten zuerst einige orientierende Versuche mit Benzamidoxim.
