Semi-Rigid Bis-Phosphane Ligands for Metallamacrocycle Formation

Abstract: Efficient syntheses are described for the new bridging bisphosphanes DPPN (4) and DPEN (5) built around the restricted rigidity of a 2,7-dialkoxynaphthalene backbone.
