Self‐Treatment of Opioid Withdrawal with a Dietary Supplement, Kratom

Abstract: We examined the use of Kratom (Mitragyna sp.), a dietary supplement with mu-opioid agonist activity, by members of a cybercommunity who self-treat chronic pain with opioid analgesics from Internet pharmacies.
