“…Since the TCD-GC is not able to analyze water precisely, an oxygen balance determined the amount of water, assuming that the contribution from oxygenates in the products was negligible. [6,22] The plug flow pattern was considered for the gaseous feed stream. and the consumption rate of CO in the feed was calculated as follows:…”

“…29 The char-modified bitumen samples also showed good fatigue performance. Effects of additional modifiers, such as sulfur and synthetic aliphatic hydrocarbon wax (a byproduct of the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis process 65 ), were also explored. The modification of bitumen with a 20% dosage of a PP-waste-derived char resulted in high storage stability.…”

“…Later, from the 1980s on, deviations of the experimental results from the ASF model threw doubt on this theory, and new hypotheses, like dual site, particle size and promotor theories, were made trying to explain the mechanism of the FT synthesis. 12,[19][20][21] Besides the dependency on catalyst composition and size, there is a correlation between the operating conditions and the chain propagation probability. Studies by Ji et al demonstrated an improvement in the light alkene selectivity with a Fe-Mn catalyst at relatively high H 2 : CO ratio (2.74) and high temperature (340 °C), while the ow rate did not show any impact.…”
