“…Many studies have reported seismic analysis for a piping system subjected to multiple support excitation. Wu et al (1978), Leimbach and Sterkel (1980) and Subudhi and Bezler (1983) applied the multiple support excitation analysis techniques to a simple piping system using multi point response spectrum (MPRS) and time history (TH) method. They compared those with single point response spectrum (SPRS) method, and addressed that the multiple support excitation analysis provides better response since the phase and amplitude relationship between supports are retained.…”
