Secure Multiple Amplify-and-Forward Relaying Over Correlated Fading Channels

Abstract: This paper quantifies the impact of correlated fading on secure communication of multiple amplify-and-forward (AF) relaying networks. In such a network, the base station (BS) is equipped with multiple antennas and communicates with the destination through multiple AF relays, while the message from the relays can be overheard by an eavesdropper. We focus on the practical communication scenario, where the main and eavesdropper's channels are correlated. In order to enhance the transmission security, transmit ant… Show more

“…Several aspects of mmWave MIMO communications, including channel measurements [11][12][13], channel estimation [14][15][16], hybrid analog/digital precoding design [17][18][19][20], multiple amplify-and-forward (AF) relaying networks [21][22][23], and multiple-cell cooperative communication [24], have been investigated in prior works. In particular, various potential techniques for mmWave cellular systems were specified in [11] by considering mmWave channel characteristics.…”

“…We believe that the hybrid massive MIMO systems with DFT processing have low cost and high efficiency for 5G communication system. In the future, we will incorporate some other wireless techniques such as [46][47][48][49] to further enhance the performance of the massive MIMO system.…”

“…Thus, the detailed parameter set about the correlated fading channels can be found in the works [46][47][48]. 2 For simplicity, we use superscript * replace the different precoding schemes, which shall be denotes the "MRT", "ZF" or "MMSE", respectively.…”
