“…XPS spectra measured on ZIF‐8 films were analogous those of crystals, in addition to a faint signal of the Cu 2p doublet (Figure S1). This later signal is due to Cu + species which come from a partial dissolution of the substrate during synthesis . In relation to this, the O 1s region (Figure b) could only be properly solved by adjusting two components, one at 532.0 eV ascribed to oxygen usually found in ZIF‐8 and another at a lower BE that agreed with the presence of oxygen from oxides in line with a minimum amount of copper oxide on the surface of the films (Table ).…”
