<p><br />This study proposes a number of criteria, investigates in Arabic dialects and its types, it is a secondary source study; in other words, information is collected from primary sources such as websites, books, action/empirical research, case studies, observations and so on. Arabic is one of the world's great languages. Its graceful script, magnificent style and rich vocabulary give the language a unique character and flavor. Arabic is the largest member of the Semitic language family which also includes languages like Hebrew and Aramaic. like most other Semitic languages, Arabic is written from right to left. The origins of the Arabic language go back to pre-Islamic Arabia, where the tribes spoke local Arabic dialects. Arabic is the official language overall Arab countries, it is used for official speech, newspapers, public administration and school. In Parallel, for everyday communication, nonofficial talks, songs and movies, Arab people use their dialects which are inspired from Standard Arabic and differ from one Arabic country to another. These linguistic phenomena is called disglossia, a situation in which two distinct varieties of a language are spoken within the same speech community. It is observed Throughout all Arab countries, standard Arabic widely written but not used in everyday conversation, dialect widely spoken in everyday life but almost never written. A lot of works have been dedicated for written Arabic. Arabic dialects at near time were not studied enough. Interest for them is recent. First work for these dialects began in the last decade for middle-east ones.</p>

This paper aims to evaluate the validity and reliability of the National English Language Exam (NELE) in Jordan for postgraduate studies. According to reviewing the most related studies using the review method, it was found that the NELE is valid and reliable depending on the evaluation of the Commission for Accreditation and Quality Assurance (CAQA) in Jordan. However, it was indicated that no studies discussed the validity and reliability of the NELE in Jordan. Otherwise, few studies evaluated the English language courses like Action Pack and Petra used by the Ministry of Education in Jordan to teach English as a foreign language. These studies found that these courses are valid and reliable. As well as, it was concluded that an enormous shortage in the literature that discussed the validity and reliability of the NELE in more depth and details. Therefore, this paper recommends more studies to evaluation the reliability and validity of the NELE in Jordan.

This study aims to determine how the differences in environmental disclosure in conventional banking with Islamic banking using the GRI index. This study found that conventional banking has a higher environmental disclosure than Islamic banking. In addition, the results of this study state that the disclosure of the Islamic banking environment is more representative when using the ISR index when compared to the GRI index. The data used are in the form of annual reports and sustainability reporting of conventional banking companies and Islamic banking listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019. The data analysis technique used in this study is content analysis and statistical tests to confirm the results. Keywords: environmental disclosure, GRI index, ISR index, Indonesian Banking
