Abstract: Aim: Vitamin D is one of the major hormones involved in phosphorus metabolism in the secosteroid structure. Studies have shown that low serum vitamin D levels are associated with chronic diseases such as autoimmune diseases, diabetes mellitus, hypertension and cancer.
