Circular base loaded modified rectangular monopole radiator for super wideband application

Abstract: This letter investigates a circular base loaded modified rectangular monopole radiator. Two main aims of presented research article are: (a) to achieve super wide bandwidth with the help of circular base loaded rectangular monopole, tapered microstrip line feed and elliptical ground plane; (b) to increase bandwidth dimension ratio (BDR) with the help of modification in rectangular monopole.
