Abstract:The number of trees or breadfruit plants in West Sumatra increases every year. Currently the only part of the breadfruit tree that is widely used is the fruit, while the leaves are underutilized and only become waste. Breadfruit leaves contain flavonoids, alkaloids, saponins, and tannins which function as antibacterial.
