Scalable nanohybrids of graphitic carbon nitride and layered NiCo hydroxide for high supercapacitive performance

Abstract: A two dimensional CNLDH 0.1 nanohybrid supercapacitor electrode prepared by simple hydrothermal hybridization of g-C3N4 and NiCO LDH shows the maximum specific capacity of 183.43 mA h g−1 with remarkable electrochemical performance.

“…Moreover, the Ragone plot clearly demonstrated the superior performance of the LDH@s-(GO/o-NH) supercapacitor electrode compared to those of various recently reported LDH-based supercapacitor electrodes. [57][58][59][60][61][62][63]…”

“…18 LDHs can act as electrocatalysts and capacitors due to the higher current density and lower overpotential. 19,20 In addition, LDHs with tunable metal cation composition and facile exchange ability of interlaminar anions allows electronic structure tuning, making them a promising catalyst. 21,22 For example, Megala et al designed a NiAl-LDH/g-C 3 N 4 /Ag 3 PO 4 dual direct Z-scheme photocatalyst with enhanced catalytic activity.…”
