1,5 U/l (30 °C). Bei 60 Frauen im Alter von 1… Show more

“…Serum TRAcP activity can be measured by kinetic methods using different substrates and buffers [12,21,22]. The modified Hillmann method [12], a kinetic assay with ␣-naphthyl phosphate as substrate, only reacts with the 5b isoenzyme, supporting the high specificity of this assay for assessing osteoclastic activity [23]. Despite this specificity, kinetic assays have some limitations because of the presence of hemolyzed or icteric specimens that could interfere with the reaction because hemoglobin and bilirubin absorb light at the wavelength that is used in these assays.…”

“…Prostatic acid phosphatase activity was determined according to Seiler and Nagel [ 16 ] using α-naphthyl phosphate as substrate. The Acid Phosphatase Assay Kit is a high sensitivity, simple, direct, and HTS-ready colorimetric assay designed to measure acid phosphatase activity in serum and other samples.…”

“…Fasting venous blood samples were obtained from all subjects and serum TRAP was measured using methods described elsewhere (Seiler et al, 1983). The intra-and interassay variation coefficients of this technique were under 6 per cent in our laboratory.…”
