Abstract:The Protestant Church in Southeast Sulawesi (GEPSULTRA) is placed by God in an area where the level of environmental damage is massive, due to mining activities by state-owned and multinational mining companies. But the Church is "silent" in that context. This attitude is strongly influenced by the soteriological view that places nature outside the work of salvation.
