The precocity and efficacy of the vaccines developed so far against COVID-19 has been the most significant and saving advance against the pandemic. The development of vaccines has not prevented, during the whole period of the pandemic, the constant search for therapeutic medicines, both among existing drugs with different indications and in the development of new drugs. The Scientific Committee of the COVID-19 of the Illustrious College of Physicians of Madrid wanted to offer an early, simplified and critical approach to these new drugs, to new developments in immunotherapy and to what has been learned from the immune response modulators already known and which have proven effective against the virus, in order to help understand the current situation.

“…O profissional de enfermagem vem enfrentando em tempos de pandemia um dos maiores desafios impostos na sua jornada de trabalho, sendo a classe que está mais próxima a prestar assistência aos pacientes infectados pelo COVID-19, aumentando, assim, o risco de infecção dessa classe que sofrem constante pressão psicológica. Segundo Miranda et al, (2021) a ansiedade e a depressão são os fatores que mais contribuem para o adoecimento da saúde mental dos profissionais, como fator desencadeante, observa-se as inúmeras cobranças e sobrecarga, que desenvolvem respostas negativas à saúde mental e física como fadiga, raiva, algumas dores físicas, dor no estomago, dor no peito, Burnout, solidão, pânico perca do apetite e crise de identidade profissional, além disso é relevante ressaltar que são poucas as estratégias que amparam a saúde psicossocial do enfermeiro cujo objetivo seria amenizar o impacto de estressores, prevenindo várias doenças que podem surgir mediante as condições citadas.…”
