Several studies (5,6,9,11,16,17) have reported on the short-term safety of 4 mg/0.1 mL IVTA injection and showed that elevated IOP ranges from 30% to 83%; the IOP elevation was transient and well-controlled in most patients with topical IOP-lowering medications. Our study results were similar: 49% of the eyes had an IOP rise of >6 mmHg, and those given additional therapy to lower IOP all responded well.…”
