Saber-sheath trachea as a marker of severe airflow obstruction in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

Abstract: Saber-sheath trachea is linked to the functional severity of airway obstruction, but not to other radiological signs of COPD. Thus, evaluation of the trachea at chest radiography is strongly recommended.
