s-ITSF: a service based intelligent transportation system framework for smart accident management

Abstract: Recently, traffic jams and accidents increase due to increase of traffic volume. Thus, intelligent transport system (ITS) is developed to provide efficient road situation and information is actively studying. However, it is mainly focused on traffic jam and management of traffic situation that a systematic management is not provided when an accident occurs. An action to prevent an accident providing the reliable information and a systematic management after accident is needed. In this paper we propose a servic… Show more

“…Hybrid vehicle cloud is a combination of the above architectures also referred as vehicular cloud computing (VCC). The feasibility of VCC was adopted by several researchers [18,25], though security issues within the cloud computing is still an attractive on-going research whereby different secure protocols have been proposed [19]. In this paper, we construct our protocol based on VANETs using Cloud architecture.…”

“…The signal in this model provides coordinated tracking with different levels of traffic priority for the emergency situation. Shortening the travel time for emergency vehicles is an important issue to find the optimized emergency path from a rescue party to an incident location (Lee et al 2015). The proposed model uses bi-level programming to solve this problem.…”

“…For this, we fix the number of wireless devices at 60 and increase the number of APs from 2 to 60 (i.e., 2,4,6,10,20,30,40, and 60) in a circular area with a radius of 1000 m.…”
