Rubber band ligation of hemorrhoids: a hospital based study

Abstract: Background: Hemorrhoids are symptomatic anal cushions containing arteriovenous anastomosis. Patient with haemorrhoids can present as bleeding per rectum, something (mass) coming out per rectum, perianal itching, Anaemia due to occult blood loss.
