“…The rooting of the cuttings can be influenced by other factors such as the physiological age [24] of the cuttings and the state of the rooting in terms of properties of aeration and drainage. The above may be true; however, the use of hormones accelerates the development and growth of roots in the stem cuttings in less time, which agrees with the aforementioned by Osman and El-Naggar [22], who obtained stem cuttings sprouted at 38 and 50 days after planting. As for the sprouted axillary buds, the ones with the best development were those from 25 to 35 mm in diameter.…”

“…Osman and El-Naggar [22], who conducted two experiments with Jatropha curcas cuttings and seven IBA concentrations. Experiment 1: Two years old mature thick terminal branches 6 -8 cm long and 3 -4 cm of circumference; Experiment 2: Four years old mature thick terminal branches of 15 -17 cm in length and 4 -5 cm of circumference.…”

“…While the shoots of the ovary explants exposed to the rooting medium produced 67% of root induction with 6 roots/shoot and an average 6.80 cm root length. Also, study reported that exposing explants in a rooting medium supplemented with 2500 ppm level of IBA induced 73.3% root response with 8.2 roots/explant and an average root length of 11.8 cm of in vivo studies in Euphorbia tirucalli 39 .…”
