Artificial Intelligence (AI) in learning and education is not new. However, the rise of the Covid-19 pandemic led to a focus on its role in Learning Management Systems (LMS). This study also examined the role of AI in the LMS with features including Natural Language Processing and Reasoning. The researchers used a self-proposed model and gathered data from the mass communication students in two public sector universities in Pakistan. Results revealed that Artificial Intelligence is integral to Learning Management Systems (LMS) in the selected institutions. Further, the effect of Natural Language Processing (NLP) on Reasoning indicated these two factors as interlinked, improving the quality of LMS. Additionally, Natural Language Processing significantly mediated the effect of AI on the LMS, showing that language processing facilitates LMS usage among students. Finally, the results also indicated the significant mediation effect of Reasoning on the relationship s between AI and the LMS. Overall, the results also remained supported towards the incorporation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) along with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Reasoning in Learning Management Systems (LMS). The researchers conclude that AI in Learning Management Systems is widely applied in Pakistani institutions. The young students also acknowledge the benefits of AI-enabled LMS that have enhanced their learning experiences and provided them with logical solutions and answers to their complex queries. Further, the study limitations are discussed and highlighted accordingly.

Metaverse Technology in Communication Practices: A Case Study of IT Products Retailers in the UAE

Introduction: Retail companies aim to provide their customers with improved customer support and public relations services. For this purpose, metaverse technology is one of the most preferred approaches to improving customers’ buying and post-purchase experiences. Aims: This research also examined metaverse technology acceptance among the IT products and services companies in the United Arab Emirates. Methods: The researchers employed a self-proposed study model and used the structural equation modeling approach. Results: Results revealed that relative advantage significantly affects customer support and public relations. However, transparency does not affect customer service and public relations significantly, while the effect of perceived compatibility on customer support remained insignificant while public relations remained significant. Finally, the effect of public relations on metaverse technological acceptance remained insignificant. Besides, the effect of customer support on metaverse technology acceptance remained significant. Overall, the results supported the role of certain factors proposed by the diffusion of innovation theory in the context of PR and customer support, which is further accelerating the metaverse technology adoption among the IT retailers in the UAE. Conclusion: Thus, this study concludes that the role and adoption of metaverse technology not only highlight its acceptance but also address its importance in improving IT retail products and services. This research focused on the students' perceptions of the role of Artificial Intelligence in the educational content recommendation system by using the SEM- Artificial Neural Network approach. Data obtained from structured surveys indicated that Artificial Intelligence plays a significant role in the educational content recommendation process. Most relationships proposed in the conceptual model remained significant, with p values as strong as p> 0.000. Further, the IPMA and ANN also revealed in-depth results. Thus, this research concludes that the video recommendation system is helping young students to search for and find the educational content they want. Besides, this system also provides them with a searching facility with fewer efforts, adding more value to YouTube as one of the most prominent digital platforms today.
