The existence of the taklim assembly has an important role in the socialization and enculturation process to enable Muslims to survive in a society that is predominantly Hindu. The role of the taklim assembly is expected to be able to present religious material that is able to form a moderate way of religion for its congregation, especially in responding to local culture in the Tengger tribe area. The focus of this service is first, local cultural study workshops and strengthening religious moderation. Second, strengthening Religious Moderation, through the development of religious material that will be presented in taklim assembly activities by the Muallim to the congregation. Based on these two focuses, service uses the service learning method through three stages; preparation, planning and implementation. From the results of the mentoring, the following are the results; 1) study of local Karo culture, entas-entas, barikan, kasodo, walagara, liliwet, santi, sodoran, and unan-unan. Local culture contains moral messages that can be used as material to strengthen religious moderation. 2) development of moral religious material that emphasizes the social dimension. Religious material contains messages about building relationships between humans and humans and humans and nature.

At the end of December 2019, a virus, currently known as the novel coronavirus-2019 or 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV), has emerged with a relatively fast spread rate. Each individual is obliged to participate in the process of preventing the disease from spreading. Additionally, any elements of society should have positive contributions in preventing the spread of this disease, including the non-formal religious education. In this study, the role of Ta'lim andragogy, a non-formal teaching-learning process for adults adopted teacher centered learning, in preventing the spread of coronavirus is investigated. Thus, the focus of this research is to exercise how the concept of ta'lim andragogy based on Science and Al-Quran Literacy can be implemented in strengthening awareness on covid-19. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods through literature review. The data used in this research were mainly originated from text, both in the form of manuscript text (books, magazines, journals, newspapers, etc.) or digital text. Theoretically, ta'lim has a potential as an alternative method in increasing this covid-19 awareness. For this reason, andragogy ta'lim must be modified in such a way, such as by integration with the values coming from the Qur'an, hence creating a new model of ta'lim based on Qur'anic literacy and scientific literacy.

This article describes the use of daif hadiths about the virtues of deeds (faḍāʾil al-aʿmāl) used by preachers at four majelis taklims in South Tangerang-Banten. This article is a qualitative, descriptive, and analytic study. This study found that the majority of preachers delivered their preaching regarding the virtues of deeds (faḍāʾil al-aʿmāl) by presenting daif hadiths. They stated that daif hadiths may motivate jemaat (congregations) to do various good deeds as long as they do not contradict the Quran and ṣaḥīḥ hadiths. However, one majelis taklim refuses to use daif hadiths, even for the theme of virtues of deeds, and only uses ṣaḥīḥ hadiths in lectures for its congregation (jemaat).
