Robustness on interdependent networks with a multiple-to-multiple dependent relationship

Abstract: Interdependent networks as an important structure of the real system not only include one-to-one dependency relationship but also include more realistic undirected multiple interdependent relationship. The study on interdependent networks plays an important role in designing more resilient real systems. Here, we mainly focus on the case of interdependent networks with a multiple-to-multiple correspondence of interdependent nodes by generalizing feedback and nonfeedback conditions. We develop a new mathematical… Show more

“…Based on the complex network theory, Lu S [23] selected an aviation system as the research object modeled and analyzed the aviation network using Pajck software, summarized the changes of various parameters in the system, and proposed ideas to improve the robustness of air cargo. Focusing on interdependent networks, Dong G-G [24] et al investigated the case of interdependent networks by generalizing feedback and non-feedback conditions, and specifically, they developed a new mathematical framework and used percolation theory to investigate numerically and analytically the percolation of interdependent networks with partial multiple-to-multiple dependency links. Shi H [25] proposed a shock resistance assessment method based on complex network, using peak ground acceleration as a reference to assess the destruction resistance of complex network buildings in an earthquake environment, and the assessment results were consistent with reality, which helped the timely measurement of building shock resistance.…”

“…There have been several studies that theoretically investigate structural and behavioral performance of NoN [18][19][20][21][22]. However, in recent years, Morone et al proposed a model that deals with the interdependency of NoN [13], and there has been no study that investigates the application of the models into information networks, including virtualized network environment, where physical resources are virtually partitioned.…”

“…At present, the academia generally adopts the modelling and simulation analysis method based on graph theory to study CPPS robustness Jimada-Ojuolape & Teh, 2020;Wang et al, 2018). First, establish the respective mathematical models of the physical network and the information network in the system based on graph theory; Then, excavates the coupling relationship between the two networks and establishes an interdependent network model of the entire system (Chen et al, 2019;Dong et al, 2019;Zhou et al, 2020); Finally, the robustness of the system is analysed based on percolation theory (Zhang & Wang, 2020). Literature (Tang et al, 2016) and Literature (Long et al, 2019) analyse the robustness of CPPS from the perspective of connectivity based on the graph theory method.…”
