Hydrochemistry and 222Rn Concentrations in Spring Waters in the Arid Zone El Granero, Chihuahua, Mexico

Previous results have shown that the concentrations of uranium, radium, and radon in surface and ground water, evaluated in several locations in the state of Chihuahua, are mainly elevated in the cities of Aldama and Chihuahua [7][8][9][10][11]. In addition, the water in the thermal springs of San Diego de Alcalá, close to the influx of the river Chuvíscar with the river Conchos, has been observed to have a high activity concentration of dissolved 226 Ra, with levels of 5.6 Bq/L [7].…”
