River otter chemical immobilization and field surgery using nonscheduled drugs

Abstract: Radiotelemetry provides valuable information about wildlife populations that is often unattainable using other methods. Many vertebrate species can carry radiotransmitters on collarsor harnesses, but radiotelemetry can be more problematic for other species.
