An evaluation of research studies is considered an important task to make future adjustments for securing and adjusting policies. This article presents the results of a study that explored the research that has been published with food security, price volatility, and price transmission as keywords. The study involved a bibliometric evaluation of statistical outcomes from 899 scientific publications from 1979 to June 2020 related to the subject, registered in the Web of Science database. The collected articles were used to measure bibliometric indicators and evaluate the research work on food security and agricultural products' price movement. An analysis of the development and the identification of the related topics of greatest interest on this subject was also carried out. The analysis results found that a rising number of studies have been registered over the years, emphasizing the following keywords: food security, climate change, agriculture, health, nutrition, consumption, and income. The analysis proves that the shift in scientific research trends associated with food security analysis is linked with health and food nutrition status. Furthermore, the word "impact" was significantly present in the analyzed papers, which reveals that econometric analysis should address the relationship between price movement and nutrient intake to achieve nutritional security.

Indonesia's position as the world's largest vanilla producer has been replaced by Madagascar. This condition is caused by the declining quality of Indonesian vanilla. Competitiveness is related to the degree of transformation determined by investment capital, technology availability, and managerial ability. Limited investment is one of the characteristics of vanilla development in addition to high business risk and low technology adoption. It is affected by risk perceptions in production and investment behaviour of farmers. This study aims to analyse investment risks in the development of vanilla agribusiness and formulate investment risk mitigation strategies. The analysis uses Risk Matrix Analysis by measuring the degree of severity and probability, and the Analytical Hierarchy Process to assess the strategy. Agribusiness investment is an important element and catalyst to agricultural development. The risks of vanilla agribusiness investment are not only determined by risks arising from the financial aspect but also influenced by technical aspects. They are divided into production risk, price or market risk, financial risk, institutional risk, and human or personal risk. Risk mitigation strategies can be divided into on-farm strategies and share risk strategies. Stem Rot disease, vanilla theft, and price fluctuation are the most important risk in vanilla agribusiness investment.

This paper aims to identify the main risk groups according to their significance on imports of agricultural products. After analysis of the scientific literature, eight groups of risks associated with agricultural products import were determined: supply risks, demand risks, production risks, management plus operational risks, logistical plus infrastructural risks, political risks, policy plus regulatory risks and financial risks. In order to assess the importance of all import risk groups, three Multicriteria decision support methods (MCDM)—SAW, TOPSIS and Geometric means—for expert evaluation are used. The article introduces a new import risks assessment framework CIRA (Country’s Imports Risk Assessment) contributing to the systematic approach of a country’s international trade risks management. The results order risk groups according to their importance in the following order: production (the most crucial risk group), logistical plus infrastructural, financial, management plus operational, political, supply, policy plus regulatory and demand risks.
