Methods : WeevaluatedtheAspartateaminotransferase(AST),Alanineaminotransferase(ALT), Creatinine,andtheBloodureanitrogen(BUN)ofserumtoexaminethesafetyofthisstudy.In vivo,wecomparedtheresultsofthenon-treatedgroup,thenormalsalinepharmacopuncture treatedcontrolgroup,theindomethacintreatedgroupandtheECPgroup.Weevaluated rheumatoidarthritismanifestationandtheRheumatoidArthritisIndex(AI).Also,immunecells inbloodaffectedbyECPwereevaluatedbycalculatingthelevelofwhitebloodcells(WBC), neutrophil,lympocytesandmonocytes.Next,thelevelofImmunoglobulinM(IgM),Immunoglob-ulinG(IgG),Interleukin(IL)-1β,IL-6,IL-17,TumorNecrosisFactor(TNF)-α andGranulocyte-macrophageStimulatingFactor(GM-CSF)inserumweremeasured.Weexaminedtheimaging ofcartilagedegenerationusingmicroCT-arthrographyofthehindpaw.Additionally,weexaminedtheeffectsofreducingbonevolume(BV)ratioandbonesurface/bonevolume(BS/BV) ratiowith3DMicro-CT.Finally,wedidahistopathologicexaminationanalysis.
