The prerequisites for the study were the strengthening of signals for the development of Industry 5.0. The main purpose of the article is to model the sustainable development of the enterprise in the context of the transition to Industry 5.0. To do this, the scientific task will be to select and implement a methodological approach with elements of modeling to ensure sustainable development. The object of the study is the sustainable development of the transportation and travel enterprise. The basis of the methodology is the modern technique of functional modeling of planning and management decision-making. For this, a modern modeling method using graphic language technologies was chosen. The obtained results of the study have elements of novelty through the presented two directions for ensuring sustainable development for a really practicing enterprise. It is determined that the preparation of entrepreneurial and production activities before the introduction of Industry 5.0 is not an easy and fast process, but it is completely justified today. The innovativeness of the results obtained is presented in the form of a sustainable development model.The study has limitations and they consist in using the experience of the previous industrial revolution and exclusively take into account the theoretical vision of Industry 5.0. Further research will include benchmarking to better understand the work of sustainable development.

Purpose Against a background context of Construction 4.0, this study aims to explore what digital leadership in construction firms is, why it is necessary and what considerations it involves. It provides a digital leadership considerations framework to aid organisational digital transformations. Design/methodology/approach To address the research question informing what digital leadership involves, an interpretivist study was conducted. Eleven purposively selected expert practitioners, including construction business leaders and company digital champions were surveyed using in-depth semi-structured interviews. This obtained insights and reflections on how construction leaders can impel digital transformations. Findings How construction leaders can embed the skills to drive such transformation in their firms, what the essential digital skills for construction businesses now are in Construction 4.0 and how leaders can attempt to evaluate the value of digital technology for their business practices, are all crystallised. Impacts of digital transformations on the construction workplace are also highlighted. Practical implications Because of this work, business leaders will be better equipped to lead and support further digital transformation efforts in Construction 4.0. Future research directions aid academics. Originality/value Clear definitions of digital transformation and digital leadership are provided, and a digital leadership considerations framework is provided to support firm-level digital transformations for Construction 4.0.

The key concept of the Industrial Revolution IR 4.0 has been conceptualized as the new wave of digitalization, robotization, and broader usage of information and communication technology. However, the construction industry is complicated, which has led to its slow industrial evolution. The construction industry still follows traditional labor-intensive industry practices, with high energy consumption, environmental pollution, and low productivity in project delivery. Moreover, the recent cataclysmic COVID 19 pandemic has opened the vision of the construction industry towards IR 4.0 due to the human movement restriction. This paper aims to investigate the adoption of indispensable monitoring technology in the construction industry as effective visual communication of data towards the IR 4.0. This research closes the gap and gives an intensive literature investigation to acquire insights into Construction 4.0 and a case study to showcase the developed monitoring dashboard. Adoption of IR 4.0 technologies will achieve sustainable construction development, lower costs and fast construction with the highest quality. The critical literature review of previous studies with content analysis to demonstrate the recent research in this area. The monitoring dashboard brings the construction performance assessment data to real life and provides key performance indicators required for construction management and support decisions.
