RETRACTED ARTICLE: Flexible Field Emitter for X-ray Generation by Implanting CNTs into Nickel Foil

Abstract: This paper reports on a flexible Ni micro wire with CNTs embedded into its surface. By using micromachining technology, for the first time, we could implant nanoscale materials into micro-scale metal substrate at room temperature. Thanks to the effective direct contact and the strong interactions between CNTs and the substrate, field emission current of 1.11 mA (current density of 22.2 mA/cm2) could be achieved from the micro wire. Moreover, the wire shows excellent mechanical properties for large amplitude be… Show more

“…The broader peak is deconvoluted into two peaks located at 284.6 and 285.8 eV, attributed to CC bonds and C–N/CN/C–S bonds in the F-h-BN nanoflakes. 35,51,52 In addition, there is a small peak located at 291.8 eV, which corresponds to π–π interactions due to the change in the π electron state of methane groups of MSA in F-h-BN nanoflakes. 33 Fig.…”

“…There is one main peak located at 192.2 eV, which corresponds to B–O–Ti bonds in TiO 2 /F-h-BN. 57 In addition, there are two other small shoulder peaks located at 187.5 eV and 185.1 eV, which are attributed to B–C bonds 52 and the boron hydride derivative, 49 respectively. Fig.…”
