Retinal ischemia as the first manifestation of antiphospholipid antibody syndrome

Abstract: Antiphospholipid antibody syndrome (APS) is characterized by the development of venous and/or arterial thrombosis and by gestational morbidity (recurrent fetal losses) in the presence of antiphospholipid antibodies.
