Abstract:An important aspect of breeding work aimed at increasing resistance to fungal diseases is the constant monitoring of the level of resistance of cultivars and identifying the group of genes used in the fight against diseases. This allows estimating the pressure of pathogens to break down the main resistance genes. The aim of the presented work was to determine the level of resistance and to postulate the presence of resistance genes to powdery mildew in oat cultivars currently growing in central Europe.
