Researching practice-based teacher education: Trends, challenges and recommendations for future research

Abstract: Teacher educators and policymakers worldwide have called for a practice-based teacher education. However, the body of research on teacher education is limited, as is the knowledge about practice-based teacher education. This article summarises six recent comprehensive research reviews on teacher education.
