Research of roadway deformation induced by mining disturbances and the use of subsection control technology

Abstract: With the increasing intensity of coal mining in recent years, the problems of mining pressure on roadways affected by mining disturbances are increasing. In mines with multi-coal seam mining, due to tight mining connections, the simultaneous tunneling of the lower coal seam roadway during the mining of the overlying coal seam's working face is occasionally performed. In particular, the gob-side roadway is affected by the double superposition

“…A 3D model size is 130 m × 120 m × 71 m. The bottom of the 3D model is fixed vertically, and the front and back, left and right surfaces are fixed horizontally 50,51 . A compensation stress of 6 MPa is applied to the top to simulate the influence of the dead weight of rock strata 52,53 . The roadway size is 4.0 m × 2.4 m (width × height), and the roof support is the same as the original scheme.…”

“…They adopted the method of UDEC numerical simulation combined with theoretical analysis to reveal the evolution characteristics of the superstructure and analyzed the influence of the offset change on the stability of the coal pillar, providing a reference for roadway decompression under similar conditions. Wu et al 17 aimed at the instability of the roadway under the superposition of mining stress in the close‐distance coal seam, the asymmetric distribution of principal stress was verified by numerical simulation method, and the sectional reinforcement measures were put forward for field application. On the basis of the half‐plane theory, Sun et al 18 analyzed the stress distribution of the floor with mathematical software.…”
