Repurposing of antidepression drug sertraline for antimicrobial activity againstStaphylococcus aureus: a potential approach for the treatment of osteomyelitis

Abstract: We report a potential approach to synthesize the repurposed sertraline drug-loaded hydroxyapatite nanoparticles using eggshell as the calcium source via the in situ precipitation method for the treatment of osteomyelitis.
