Numerous patriotic ceremonies took place but left a little lasting impact on society. Some are only mentioned in history books, while others are misplaced in the creases of old documents that can no longer be read due to weathering, destruction, and extinction through time. The Bulaenna Parangia manuscript, which has been read and found to have good meaning and content, is a tale about the bravery of the Selayar people, passed down through sinrilik songs. The heroism, loyalty, and sacrifice of Raja Tanete, also known by his title Bulaenna Parangia, are described through sinrilik as a source of living inspiration for the people of Selayar. It is discovered through a study of the patriotic principles contained in the book. A similar incident is also described through the sacrifices of the young people who died in 1946 when driving out the Dutch colonialists from Bumi Selayar. The monarchs' determination to cede their authority to the Unitary State of the Indonesian Republic resulted from their courage and sacrifice. As a natural outgrowth and manifestation of the patriotism of its forebears, the series of offerings of bravery, sacrifice, and loyalty expresses the local community's commitment to its national identity. Bulaenna Parangia, who is also willing to give her body and soul to defend the country she adores, is an example of this commitment.

The purpose of the article is to study patriotism in the system of value orientations of students, as well as tools for forming patriotic consciousness in the perspective of improving the state policy of Russia. The value core of student youth includes mainly intangible personal values; patriotism is included in the system "We are the feelings". The vulnerabilities are proposed to be leveled by changing the conceptual approaches, technologies for organizing civil and patriotic education; the complexity of the impact of various socialization agents is important. Public policy should be adjusted through monitoring of the federal cross-section as well as through the analysis of private cases of educational institutions.

Classical leadership models have insistently reinforced the notion of leader-centric rule. Business models focus on strong leadership, definitive decision-making and charismatic figures. Authoritarian leadership is the foundation upon which other models are based. However, the adoption of Charismatic Leadership and Great Man theory puts into relief the tendency within democratic rule towards fascist and populist ideology. Many leading philosophers and political scientists lend support to authoritarian rule. This tendency is not always apparent in democratic theory, indeed it is counter-intuitive, but from a critical perspective, we are forced to ask whether there is not something within democracy which invites authoritarianism and harbours the seed of fascism.
