Représentations et usages des TIC dans le secteur agricole en Aquitaine

Abstract

L’informatisation des exploitations agricoles amorcée dans les années 1980 affecte leurs modes de gestion, de production et de commercialisation. En dehors de l’ordinateur et de l’Internet, organisations professionnelles comme vendeurs de solutions informatiques offrent aux agriculteurs une gamme d’outils numériques spécifiquement dédiés à la gestion comptable, à la production, à la communication professionnelle et avec la clientèleL’équipement des exploitations en technologies de l’information et de la communication (TIC), tout comme les usages qu’en font les exploitants, sont néanmoins très variables selon les caractéristiques économiques et organisationnelles des structures agricoles et les caractéristiques sociodémographiques des agriculteurs. De même, les représentations des TIC dans le travail en agriculture diffèrent chez les agriculteurs en fonction de leur profil professionnel.Ces diverses dimensions des TIC en agriculture dans le cadre de la professionnalisation du métier ont été appréhendées chez des agriculteurs aquitains, dans une enquête quantitative et une enquête qualitative.
