To our knowledge, only 13 cases of pigmented SCC have been reported in the English language literature, with most frequent development in the oral cavity or conjunctiva 1 –11 . However, no case of scrotal pigmented SCC has been reported.…”

“…Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) of the skin and mucosa may show various unusual histologies such as acantholytic, mucin-producing, spindle cell, 1 verrucous, clear cell 2 and pigmented SCC, [3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18] in addition to conventional SCC and Bowen's disease. These variants of SCC, except for verrucous, usually develop in sun-exposed skin either de novo or in association with a solar keratosis.…”
